What is Value Added Tax (VAT)? Value Added Tax is a tax that is required to be paid by consumers that live within the European Union(EU.) Since Micro Flight Innovative Systems is based in the Netherlands, the VAT applied to our goods is 19.0%. If you DO NOT live in a European Union member country you DO NOT have to pay VAT. The simplest way to be sure that you are viewing the price that would apply to you is to create a member account. Once you create an account with your correct address information, all you have to do is log into your account when you visit the store and you will automatically be shown a price inclusive or exclusive of VAT, depending on your country of origin. Why do we list 2 different prices? Although it may seem a bit confusing at first glance we do this out of courtesy for our international customers. We want to make sure that it is clear to our local clients as well as our growing international clientele what prices are applicable to them. Again, If you create an account and log into our website the system will automatically look at your shipping address and decide which pricess are appropriate for you and only display one price so there is a simple way around seeing two different prices if this is something that you find annoying or confusing.
